This is a scene I witnessed while camping at Buttle Lake with my Grandson Christian.
It’s not a particularly good painting, a bit crude, but it fairly depicts the occasion.
The otter escaped, probably due to our intervention.
The background was developed from photographs taken at the time and the otter and cougar were added from downloaded photographs.

I remember hearing about this “close call” adventure! Amazing to see it come to life.
Wow, very cool! I’m relieved the otter managed to escape.
