Thoughts from 2008 …. Hmmm rather fitting for today…
Were You Having Similar Thoughts?
Just going to leave you with the poems. They speak for themselves.
Walking in Faith and Hope
Fatigue frustration fragility
Force freezing of the frenetic futility
Silent depths open as dead space emerges from fresh air vents
Ahhh, a cool hush descends and permeates the core
An embracing, powerful tranquility that can’t be ignored.
It brings perspective, patience and pondering
Allowing for adventurous creative flow and wandering.
Interesting that silence can be both liberating and reassuring
A stoic stance that is founded on trust ever enduring
It teaches the stimulus response game is not the be all end
Silently walk in faith and hope hand in hand as friends.

STOP….. Please
Whirling, humming, buzzing, beeping,
Whizzing, hammering, banging, weeping
Whipping intensity, brittle, grating, grinding
Whining rhythmic hysteria like a clock winding.
Help, listen, console, retort
Question, demand, answer and support
A world that is insatiable for constant reaction
Always analyzing, seeking perfection and satisfaction
Momentum like a train out of control
Sound invasion ready to take over the soul.
Summiting stress seeking….
STOP!
Please
