Memories of Beach Walks with Friends

…Sallie and Sheba

We just watched the news and sigh in some ways we wish we didn’t. Restrictions are tightening. In our community we are told no more than two people walking outside together at one time. We are also aware that our community is doing in home testing if you suspect that you have the disease. This is comforting. We know things are going to get worse before better but it’s hard to swallow at times. The Elf King just made a decree that we need to stop watching it for a couple of days. SIGH!

SO in the interest of keeping positive and cherishing fond memories today I am sharing Sallie and Sheba the one story I have illustrated thus far. It is an alliterative, rhyming couplet story that was inspired by my fond memories of walking by the seaside with my girlfriend Sallie and her dogs.

Dazzle’s Challenge:

  • Make sure you get out for a walk at least once a day and if you are in a condo, make sure you keep several windows open to allow for air circulation.

Quick Take Away Links:

These are of Vancouver Island (Canada’s Hawaii) …I can’t wait to enjoy our beaches again without restrictions.
