Writing Rejuvenating as I Revel and Roll Riding Waves of this Creative Remarkable Renaissance

BUT Do I Stay or Do I Rest?

This is a difficult time BUT and exciting time. A period in history like no other that is provoking us with extreme irony! Globally we are battling a war that has stopped wars. As warriors we are sitting quiet and patiently battling the enemy. The enemy is not using weapons but taking our breath away. We are learning to love, share and care without touch and proximity. Everything has stopped but great rebirth and activity will bring a whole new world. The list goes on.

As of yesterday I completed 31 blog posts in a row in the hopes of offering stories, resources and challenges to parents, teachers, grandparents who can then share with the children in their lives. I spoke to my webmaster Scott and said, “I think it’s time to stop or maybe just post once or twice a week.” He is graciously still helping me bespoke my posts so that they are visually appealing which is creating more work for him. Bless his generous heart! Maybe I need to back way from blogging and spend more time sketching and writing new stories that are waiting to be birthed?

Reflecting on yesterday’s post, feeling proud of my pandemic posting accomplishment, acknowledging how creating the blog posts are keeping me in routine, attempting to help others through story and resources, thriving on goals and chronicling my journey through this extraordinary time, I have decided to continue to blog daily.

I will stay in the interest of structure, mental health and sharing ideas with the twist of flexibility that if I feel the need to ferment, I will step away to proof with a poof!

Dazzle’s Challenge:

  • What can you do during social isolation that will add structure, inspiration and a sense of proud accomplishment? Journaling every day? Calling someone? Reading an inspiring passage? Walking? The list is endless. JUST DO IT!

Quick Take Away Link:

I just finished this book filled with wisdom and strategies for everyone regardless of whether you have a designated position of leadership. A great author!
